…thriving farmland
What if we could protect our land, one potato at a time? Biodiversity is essential for our land to thrive - and it’s essential for farming too.
WE HELP LOOK AFTER THE LAND
The reason we use complementary crops (and not umbrellas) to cover the soil is because they not only protect it from harsh weather but when they biodegrade into the land they create fertile soil that attracts more biodiversity into the land, reduce weeds and improve the capacity of the soil to retain water.
WE THINK ABOUT FUTURE CROPS
WE LIKE TO MIX IT UP
Growing complementary crops like barley, green peas and wheat, after we harvest our potatoes, encourages biodiversity to flourish. Also, rotating our fields every four years gives the land time to rest and look after the life it sustains.
